chapter 3 question

  1. why does he feel like a traitor? He felt like a traitor because he wasn't going to tell the family secrete
  2. What did Ms. Gold try to explain to Dave about the judge’s decision? she said that the decision you make today will affect you for the rest of your life.
  3. Describe what he saw right when he entered court. he saw his mother and his brothers in the waiting room.
  4. What would Ms Gold like david to do? she would like him to tell the truth about what happened to him.
  5. Who did Dave write a letter to? he wrote a letter to his mother about how he was sorry.
  6. What did that letter say? he was sorry and he didn't mean to tell the family secrete.
  7. What did Dave say to Ms. Gold when he tapped her hand? that he was sorry for all the trouble he caused.
  8. Why do you think David’s mom didn’t say anything when the judge asked her if she had any statements? she already knew the outcome of what was going to happen.
  9. Why does he have so much trouble deciding what to do, explain the 2 sides. he wants a new life and wants to be treated better but then again he doesn't want to betray his mother.
  10. What did the judge ask David? the judge asked him if the court desires and if you believe that your home setting is undesirable.
  11. What did David blurt out to the judge? He said "You Sir! i want to live with you! I,m sorry!
  12. What significant thing made David realize he wants to be he courts’? the sent of ms golds perfume and all the fun he had since he left his mom.
  13. What did Dave’s mother say to him and what did she give him after thy left the court house? daves mother said that he should be a good boy and have a better life then gave him presents.
  14. When David waived good bye who was the only person to return his gesture? the only person that waived back was his mother.
  15. What do you think about mom’s reaction after the judges decision? she acted like she didn't care she really didn't care.
