1. By the time he almost turned 11 what did he know and what would happen to him if he would looked at his mother or one of his brothers?
David knew that if he looked at his mother or one of his brothers he would get one of his mothers punishment or he wouldn't get any food.
2. What did Dave see from the corner of his eye?
From the corner of his eye he saw a blurred object fly from his mothers hand.
3. What did Dave’s mother do to him? And why?
david's mother stabbed him in the upper stomach, she was drunk.
4. What was the accident? Do you think it was an accident?
The accident was that she stabbed him, i think that is was a fifty-fifty; she wanted to stab him, but she was thinking twice about it until she just did it without thinking.
5. How did mom feel about the accident?
After the accident, his mom was being nice to him, but she was still keeping her distance.
6. Where did she stab Dave? And with what?
David's Mother stabbed him right above the stomach with a kitchen knife.
7. What did she tell Dave after she finished dressing his wound?
David's mother told him afater dressing his wound that she would feed him later.
8. What did his father say to him when Dave told him what his mother had done? How does his father feel about it?
When David told his father what had happened, his father asked him why his mom did that, and he should get back in the kitchen and finish the dishes, his father shows no emotion.
9. How long did it take him to finish his chores after the “accident"?
After the accident it took david one hour and a half to finish the dishes.

the code of the family was " If we don't acknowledge a problem, it simple does not exsist.
11. What did Dave think when his mother let him go play outside with his brothers?
David was wondering if his mother was trying to make up with him, and if the days living in the basement finally over?
12. What did he see on his wound when he tried cleaning it with a rag?
when david tried cleaning his wound with a rag he saw puss and yellow stuff on his wound; he knew it was infected.
